My Story

I’ll be running the Exeter Half Marathon in May in honour of Thomas Love who sadly passed away in December 2022 at only 21 years of age. Thomas was an amazing person and touched the lives of many people. I knew him from my scouting days. He was great fun to be around but was also kind and thoughtful. At the end he was living his best life on a motorcycle adventure across Africa, packing more into his 21 years than many people do in a lifetime.

I’m fundraising for the trust his family have set in his memory, which aims to help children and young people in deprived areas, both in the UK and in Africa. I think Tom would be proud that his legacy is helping others get more out of their lives.
