About us
The ALMT seeks to improve the quality of life for the world's most marginalised children and young people. Every penny raised goes directly towards our valued partners around the world and makes a sustainable difference to children's lives. Current projects include, amongst many others, mental health support for children who have experienced domestic violence, malaria prevention through the provision of mosquito nets in Zambia, vaccinations and neo-natal support in Afganistan and supplementary schooling for disadvantaged and refugee children in the UK.
With over 17 years’ experience of funding small charities we make targeted grants to organisations worldwide and look for innovative and creative solutions to proven problems which effect longer term change for the most disadvantaged young people.
Our team build partnerships with grant recipients offering advice and support, digital and media coverage and fundraising assistance. Potential partners must display stringent report writing, measurable results and have exceptional monitoring and evaluation processes in place.
The Trust accepts solicited requests for funding sourced through the ALMT's ever growing web of friends, partners and contacts.
